JUBA MOUNTAIN POTTERY In her studio and showroom at Juba Mountain Pottery, Susan Dienelt makes and sells elegant but still very functional stoneware pots to be used in the kitchen, at the table, and around the home. Her pots are dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. They are fired in a very hot gas kiln in which salt is added toward the end of the firing. The interaction of the salt, the heat, and the clay forms a special patina, making certain that no two pots look exactly alike.
