Foster Harris House has central heat and AC for your year around comfort

We are a small, owner-run bed and breakfast, so cancellations affect us significantly.
At the time of booking we will collect your first night stay along with the taxes in order to hold your reservation.
If you cancel less than seven (7) days prior to your arrival you will be responsible for the first night of your stay (the deposit).
If you cancel more than seven (7) days prior to your arrival you have a $50 fee removed from your deposit,
the rest will be refunded.
We cannot accommodate pets.
Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.
*A 30 day cancellation notice is required on group reservations and for holidays and special events.

If arriving outside of check-in times, please call or text to make arrangements.
Check-out: 11:00 AM.

Mountain View

The Mountain View room has a queen bed, free standing stove and private bath with a spa shower, glass block and marble floors. In the elegant sitting room, enjoy beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and perennial gardens. Features: Queen bed, loveseat, best views in house, largest room, lighted make-up mirror, spa shower with water jets and rainfall showerhead, stove, sitting room with crystal chandelier.

The Peter's Suite

A beautifully reimagined two-bedroom retreat, The Peter’s Suite combines privacy, comfort, and historic charm. The main bedroom features a canopy queen bed, mountain views, and a private bath with a walk-in rainfall shower. Tucked at the back of the house, it includes a separate anteroom for added seclusion. The second bedroom offers a plush queen bed, French country furnishings, and its own bathroom with Italian tile and rainfall shower. With two serene sleeping spaces and thoughtful touches throughout, The Peter’s Suite is ideal for couples, friends, or families seeking space and style.

Garden Suite

Bright, spacious, and stylish, the Garden Room has a custom queen bed with a private bath that features a tub with a rainfall shower. Lovely views of the garden Features: Queen bed, lighted make-up mirror, tub with rainfall shower, stove, two wingback chairs. Located on the first floor.

This opulent room was originally the primary bedroom for the first family to call the house home, offering a unique blend of historic charm and modern comfort.
